Terms of Use
1. Scope
These terms describe CashTide (潮汐), provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page. The software license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. This page supplements that license with product, membership and data information; it does not replace it or limit rights granted by applicable law.
2. Purpose of forecasting
CashTide simulates cash flows from your balances and rules. It does not connect to banks or carry out transfers, trades or investments. Forecasts depend on inputs, date rules and the calculation window and may differ from actual cash flows. They are not investment, tax, accounting or other professional advice and do not guarantee future balances or returns. Check your inputs and use your own judgment for financial decisions.
3. Free version and Pro
The current free version allows viewing the next 90 days and creating up to 2 projects. Pro may provide a longer forecast horizon, unlimited projects, advanced rules, the all-enabled comparison and backup export; see the current app and purchase page for details. When Pro expires or is revoked, existing projects and rules remain available for viewing and ordinary editing. The free project limit restricts new projects. Access to advanced features depends on current membership status.
4. Purchases, subscriptions and trials
Pro offers an annual subscription and a lifetime purchase. Prices, currency, availability and trial eligibility are shown on Apple’s purchase confirmation screen. Annual subscriptions renew automatically for the displayed billing period unless canceled through Apple before renewal. Trial conversion timing and charges are shown by Apple. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. A lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase of Pro access for this product, not a renewing subscription; it does not promise separate future products or perpetual operation. If you buy lifetime access while subscribed annually, check and cancel any annual subscription you no longer need.
5. Restoration and refunds
Use Restore Purchases in the app to have Apple verify eligible purchases. Entitlements depend on Apple’s currently valid transactions. Apple handles refund requests under its rules at reportaproblem.apple.com. Approved refunds or revoked transactions may remove the corresponding entitlement.
6. Data, backups and privacy
You control your cash-flow data, which is stored on your device. Save necessary backups before clearing data, replacing it by import or changing devices. Importing a backup replaces current cash-flow data. Keep exported files secure and do not share them with untrusted recipients. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You retain rights in the content you enter. The app’s software, interface and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Use the app under Apple’s license and applicable law; do not infringe others’ rights or use the service for unlawful activities. This provision does not restrict uses permitted by law.
8. Availability and responsibility
We reasonably maintain the product but cannot guarantee error-free calculations, compatibility with every device or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, failure to keep backups or third-party service interruptions. Non-excludable liabilities and statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Changes and contact
Features and these terms may change with app updates. Material changes will be explained in an appropriate place; paid entitlements will be handled under applicable law and the valid terms of purchase.
